Tax assessment review

More time for what you truly love doing

MVO Fiducia makes it a point of honour to ensure your tax return is completed with all the deductions you are entitled to.

Sometimes your situation is incorrectly assessed or misinterpreted by the Tax Administration, whether due to changes made by the assessor or to a failure to submit certain documents useful for optimising your return. What you need to know is that there is a solution.

Indeed, in all cases you have the option of filing an objection within 30 days with the Tax Administration (the date shown on the tax assessment is authoritative).

How to proceed?

As soon as you receive your tax assessment, you must check the amount requested. If you find that the tax amount differs from the one we communicated to you, you must contact us and send us your tax assessment within 20 days of receiving it. We can then:

  • Properly analyse the changes made by the administration
  • Assess the situation, advise you and/or provide you with additional information
  • Gather any additional supporting documents
  • Draft an objection and submit it to the Tax Administration

The importance of meeting deadlines

The deadline for filing an objection cannot be extended. After 30 days, the Tax Administration no longer considers the matter and the tax assessment is deemed final. So do not put off checking your tax assessment. For more information, contact us.
